Today, the vast majority of women in North America believe they are unable to stand solidly on their own two feet when it comes to their financial lives. They might already succeed businesswomen in their own right, maybe even millionaires, yet many tell me that if their husband died or left, they dont know what they would do regarding their finances. They do not
believe they may understand the financial world, especially the investing part of that world.
- A woman tells me she has turned her funds
over to someone else (usually a man) to invest and it has lost half its assessment of value and she just figures thats the way it is.
- Another woman makes plenty of money but never pays her bills on instant, never believes there will be enough and lives by the hard work model. She gives her children whatever they want but she doesnt take care of herself by paying bills on measure

They are both in precarious health and are now facing aging with no financial resources. This was a woman who had been successful yet still turned everything over to someone else.
These are all very bright and successful women. I wanted to find out why this was happening. I began talking to many, many women and studied everything I could find on the subject. I knew it didnt have to be this way and I became determined to help affect a change in this area of womens lives.
